Spraypaint Car-Rep 2K EPOXY Primer Black 500ml

CAR-REP® 2K EPOXY PRIMER with rust inhibitors creates a water- and airtight film. It forms an extremely well-bonded layer on putties, which can be applied directly on the primer without sanding. It promotes bonding on various surfaces such as carbon fiber and most plastics used in automotive OEM. The revolutionary short 10 minute baking time with infrared speeds up the priming time and ensures excellent time and cost savings. Car-Rep® 2K Epoxy Primer can be applied outside spray booths, which saves time and costs.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Sanding: Make sure that sand-throughs and edges are levelled out correctly.

Clean: Surfaces must be cleaned and degreased before application.

Shake the can before use. Test the spray pattern on another surface. Spray distance 15-20 cm. Areas to be filled with putty: apply 1-2 coats. Areas to be directly base coated: apply 3 coats. Intermediate flash-off 2 min, final flash-off 5 min.

Drying time: 20 °C 16 h, 20 °C. Drying time short wave IR equipment: Full power 20 min depends on the surface thickness. Surface temperature 70 °C. 1 layer: 20 microns, 2 layers: 30-40 microns.

Can recoated at any time with Car-Rep® 2K Epoxy Primer. Clean the can by spraying upside down until only propellant comes out.

Ready to apply putty or sanding: IR when cooled down, baking when cooled down 20 °C overnight.
